My Story

Mr. Rogers was transferred from Sarc today. At the beginning of the month he was admitted into their clinic as they thought he maybe had fatty liver disease, he was on fluids and pain control and was force fed for a few days until he started feeling better and eating on his own. His liver and kidneys values are elevated and their vet notes he likely needs a dental surgery too. This is so common in older cats! The Surrey shelter has two other cats with very early kidney disease that they have had zero adoption interest in, they figured this boy here may not have that kind of time to sit around and wait. They guessed Mr. Rogers is about 11 years old. We are so thankful that we could offer this cat a soft place to land for however long he's got.
