My Story

This is Willow!

Willow (was Mirabel), was found on the side of the road and dropped off at a local emergency vet clinic. The clinic did an exam, then transferred her to Sarc. Sarc had their own clinic examine Willow as she is in pretty bad shape. Transferred to SAINTS , seen right away by yet a third vet, it has been confirmed. All three vet clinics agree little Willow is in need of bilateral enucleation. She is at a very high risk of corneal rupture, the damage done to her eyes is severe, she is on multiple pain management meds to keep her comfortable until surgery. If that isn’t enough, she also has discharge from her ears and skin lesions. Is that the end of the story? Of course not!

Willow has gone into permanent foster care with Long time volunteers ! A whirlwind week for this lil one, that could not have gone any better. The surgery has been booked, she will soon be pain free. Yay!
