you would think with lola being so ill, crappy wet weather, no toilet, now no water, and a bathroom reno that is definately not going well, it would have been a crappy day. but it was not. lola is holding her own, she tried to dart out the front door on me..(i know damn well she wants to go hypothermic out in the cold and rain)...and she almost got past me too! anyway since she failed at that, she wandered back into the cat room to sleep under the computer in the basket which i happen to be alot more comfortable with as far as final resting places are concerned.
we had a blast with the dogs down by the pond (including jazz and MICHAEL!!!) and then took ellie and percy for a late afternoon walk...they both had the zoomies and it was so much fun to watch them!
dexter had some one on one time down there with kathy this morning and was terrorizing logs and balls down there again this afternoon.
spritely was not all too sure she trusted me to keep her new baby calf safe on our walk, and it took alot of convincing on my part to get her to let us go without her, she watched us for awhile and then decided it was stupid to worry about the calf when i was so super responsible and went and waited for us up by the barn.
bathroom disasters aside, it is always a really good day when the animals have a good day too.
