i got eldad to the airport safely and everyone had everything covered here for me. we all agree that bridgette's parapalegia is a heck of alot of work! but while she can't use her back legs...watch out for the fronts,,,whap!!! pet me... whap!!!! more....WHAP!!! hello, i am talking to you missy! i am almost grateful she can't walk cuz at least she can't reach me whenever she wants....what a sweetie!
i talked to the vet today and got the right dose of baytril for kai. i thought he was a bit more "with it" today and he sure does like his food which is good cuz he is a very skinny guy. he is currently sound asleep again, fully under a blanket...he is just a big pink lump in the middle of my ex-bedroom floor.
i left too much stuff to do tomorrow before the party...besides the regular cleaning, feeding and meds...i want to set up a new spot for bridgette and move her, i need to hit safeway for my contribution to the pot luck, the kittens need their pen area and crate scrubbed top to bottom (messy little buggers), AND i need to get to canadian tire to pick up a couple of more folding tables (one of ours is holding gingers cage (she is doing ok by the way) and another is holding a ton of tools that i do not want to move!)
i should have gone down in that one hour and a bit between finishing everything here today and putting the barn guys to bed but it was too freaking gawd darn cold to go out again and i am kind of stupid too!
our very sad news for today is....the little nameless one in such bad shape from CAC, died this morning at the vets, probably multi-system failure. rest in peace little one and i am so sorry trina.
I wish it would snow here. It was -30 overnight, our high is -18! My puppies refuse to go outside - my seniors can barely make it out at all but at least they try. Snow is warmer! Have a great day!
