A morning with Cuddles:(FROM KATHY)
He wakes up when I do and if I DARE open my eyes just a little I quickly cover my head so he stops licking my face (you taught him that... hmm) then he throws himself on his back on top of me and continues to roll and rub and snort and gets all happy, wagging and playing until I drag myself out of bed (I just want my coffee at this point ) can't help but smile. We run to the bedroom door and he does a really fast walk/run to reach the grass to have a long pee.
We then meet at the back door where he tears through and grabs his favorite toy (squirrel) gives it a good shaking and then runs to the kitchen for his morning treat, The Snausage!
Cuddles likes to rattle his food bowl... not for food but for treats! He rattles that bowl a lot !! Snausages are his very favorite, he could eat those all day.
He tells me when he needs to go outside for a pee cause he hates the doggy door and does that by staring you down from the middle of the floor with a funny little whine. If you don't get it he'll jump in your face, HELLOOO I am trying to tell you something !! Oh sorry Cuddles.
If I am going out without him i just tell him, he doesn't try to get out the door with me anymore he goes to Dave's office and has his blanky below the desk and happily follows Dave around till I get home and then he is back on duty with me.
We are all doing well, thank you for giving him up to me, I had my doubts that Cuddles and me would actually become a reality cause you two are so attached but I know the others will happily take his place and be your new cuddlers.

UPDATE ON BETSY AND SHILO... AND WHO TURNED ON THE CAPS LOCK ON THE COMPUTER...EDDY, BAD CAT!!
RIGHT OR WRONG I CANCELLED SHILO'S EUTH TODAY AND RE-BOOKED IT FOR EARLY SATURDAY. I HAVE THE MEDS TO KEEP HER COMFORTABLE, INCLUDING INJECTIBLE.
BESTY IS HOME WITH HER NEW ESOPHAGEAL FEEDING TUBE (I THOUGHT WE DECIDED ON A G-TUBE INSTEAD.) AND SHE IS SLIGHTLY PISSED RIGHT OFF AT ME. SORRY BETS...I TOLD YOU TO EAT.

COPPER IS JUST VACATIONING WITH HEIDI AND TREV FOR THE WEEKEND...HE IS ENJOYING CHECKING OUT THE EATING ESTABLISHMENTS IN FORT LANGLEY FOR A FEW DAYS.
I wish I could adopt Copper, maybe at some point, but then again Copper is soo Saints, and has so many friends there that would miss him (Andy, Lynne, and yes you too Carol!). Copper is being really good here, no problems. I understand he is just putting on a show for me and waiting to show me his beagleness. I'm not sure my apt bulding would let me take on another dog!!! and once I adopt it's for life, for better or worse, richer or poorer (usually poorer) etc. I might get away with an older/ palliative dog like Nina but Copper still has too many years left.
