Hello Carol,
This is Ben, he is a male neutered Akita about 9 years old in need of a home. I found him on the freeway October 31st and let the SPCA know about him and took him to my hospital. Nobody came looking for him. He had been skunked, and had testicular tumor.He is still living at Hospital and sad to say has been there for about a month. He was recently neutered, full dental with 2 extractions.Ben loves to go for walks, car rides and would be best suited for a single dog home. Ideally it would be great if someone was familiar with his breed, he really is a beautiful guy but needs someone to be firm with him.
He is very handsome and has a beautiful coat. The bare spots on his back end were hot spots but those are clearing up
well now that he is on a good diet.
He is going crazy at the hospital, Ben has been in a kennel for a month now. I don't have a fenced yard and have 4 smaller dogs that are all 12yrs +. I am very sad to say that leaving him there is not quality and if I can't find this guy a home I think there is only one thing I can do and I really don't want to have to do that.
