My Story

You may remember Bentley.

Back in June, an untimely death occurred in Bentleys family and everything got turned upside down. Nobody else in the family could take him on. SAINTS was full, but we wanted to help the sweet 11 yr old who had some health issues that needed investigating. Bentley was placed directly in permanent foster care, bypassing our sanctuary. This is risky, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. This time, it didn’t. The family we chose for Bentley has been struggling to get a handle on his anxiety. They have tried numerous different things, but this boy just doesn’t want to be alone, among other triggers that give him serious angst. It was not an easy decision for them to bring him to us, but of course we stand behind all our animals and always accept them back. That’s the commitment we make whether it’s a budgie or a cow, or anything in between.

So join us in welcoming Bentley back, though it’s technically for the first time.
