My Story

Meet Laney.

Laney is about 8 years old and has hyperthyroidism. As “technically” a senior, and requiring ongoing testing and likely twice a day medication for the rest of her life, her adoption prospects were too low for her to stay at the other shelter. It’s crazy that that’s where we are at, an 8 year old cat with a very common health issue needs to come to a sanctuary because she won’t be adopted. Sad state of affairs for sure. Luckily, we had room to squeeze in the two cats SARC needed to transfer out.

Laney is sweet and friendly and beautiful. Welcome to SAINTS!
