My Story

Pebbles, a mini pig, had a tumultuous start to life with three quick homes as she outgrew the expectations of a "teacup pig" size. Her fourth home, where she spent a decade, provided love and stability. Unfortunately, maintaining a property suitable for a pot-bellied pig became unsustainable, leading Pebbles to move to a family friend's place for what was meant to be temporary.

Over four years passed in this temporary arrangement, filled with love, but circumstances changed again when her caretaker had to move without Pebbles. Together, both families sought a solution, placing Pebbles on the waitlist with PEACE Canada, where she waited for a new home. SAINTS, with its communal living for most of their pigs, eventually had a spot open up. Recognizing Pebbles' long wait and numerous moves, we reached out to offer her a safe haven.

After weeks of planning, Pebbles made the journey from Bowen Island to SAINTS. Here, she joins other senior pigs in need, finding solace and care for the rest of her life. It's a well-deserved safe landing after enduring six different moves and uncertainty about her future.
