Meet Sabrina!
Sabrina was bottom of the pecking order (literally) in her home. The family felt she was going to be seriously injured or killed if they left her in with their flock, but at the same time had nowhere else to keep her.
Sabrina was surrendered to us today, luckily we were able to make room, fast. She unfortunately also has bumblefoot so will remain in quarantine for the entire 30 days while she heals. Sabrina is safe and has a whole indoor room to herself. She is a good eater and seems pretty happy with her new life. Hopefully her new feathers will come in and by the time she's ready to be introduced to our barnyard hens she will look and feel brand new!
