My Story

Milo, previously known as Rick, was transferred from the Surrey Animal Resource Centre. He had been waiting for a spot at our sanctuary for some time. Still intact, this young cat is set to see the vet to get the ball rolling (pun definitely intended 😉).

Milo came to us as a stray with some neurological issues that caused him to be quite wobbly. We're not entirely sure what happened to him in the wild—he might have been hit, ingested something toxic, or been exposed to harmful substances. However, we're happy to report that Milo is no longer as wobbly as when we first got him, indicating that whatever affected him is likely leaving his system.

He has some other, thus far mysterious, medical concerns that need investigating, but we have hope for a bright future ahead. This sweet cat is supposed to be about two years old (2024) He’s quite small and even when he reaches his ideal weight, he will still be on the smaller side. He’s friendly but afraid of strange noises. He was given a crinkle tunnel that was a hair-raising experience, to say the least.

With continued care and recovery, we're hopeful that Milo will make a full recovery. Once he is fully healthy and neutered, he should be a great candidate for adoption. Milo is a young, sweet boy, and we specialize in caring for unadoptable animals, so we're crossing our fingers for him! 🤞

Every animal, given the right home, could be placed in foster care or adopted. To find out if one of our animals could be a fit for you, please email adoptions@saintsrescue.ca to start a conversation.
