My Story

Winston came to SAINTS in 2017, when his owners could no longer care for him.

He arrived here at the age of four, a very domesticated pig who was accustomed to certain inside comforts - like his own room, and lots of attention from people.

So for his first couple of years at SAINTS, Winston was an inside pig. He lived in the shop and had a special outdoor run for lounging in.

But then he got a little too demanding of his human friends and, after nipping someone, it was decided that maybe Winston needed some space outside where he could fully express his pig emotions without anyone getting hurt. So Winston moved outside to the farmyard area, with his own pen, and he settled in really well.

Outside he has formed a great bond with pals Emily, Chevy, and Chewy, and it turns out that outdoor pig life is pretty nice too! Winston still gets to hang out with human friends, as all of our barnyard staff and volunteers adore him.
