the vets did an ultra-sound on her after hours and it looked like her abdomen was full of cancer. the plan was to phone me this morning re: ? euth?. i guess smokey made her own decision.
rest in peace smokey, i am glad you did not die outside but i do wish we could have gotten a bit further down the happiness road for you.
She was a sweet cat, affectionate. I'm really sorry I didn't have more time to get to know her better.
I'm also sorry that after two years of being where she wasn't wanted and then finally finding a place where she could be safe and warm and accepted for who she was she only made it a week or two. She deserved heaven on earth a little longer after her long journey to reach it.
I hope she felt a little peace and alot of love at the end of her life. I'll miss you Smokey.
