tunie still is not well.
rusty the rooster is still not well.
maude has a very sore foot.
jesse and raymond and lady are somewhat feeling better.
and tawnie, sarah, tiger lily, and rusty the hairy hamster (aka pomeranian) all moved into permanent foster care today.
thank you to mo, laura, lynne and eva for all of their help today and special thx to the dump run fairy, now that was a very nice treat!!!!
she is eating quite well right now..rice, blue berries, strawberries, apples and bananas...what is up with tunie has nothing to do with an infection, it is more likely a reproductive cancer. she is eating and comfortable on pain meds, she is back up and wandering around, the vets are aware of what is happening with her and will be back out on tuesday.
no need to panic, she is not being ignored or neglected, tunie gets the same level of concern and care and appropriate medical care as everyone else.
Its kind of weird or fate that not havng the time to read your blog as i once used to only to read my tunie is not well.
She is only 11 years old and a pig who is refusing food is not good and normally one of the last sypmtons, so reaction time is vital.
No doubt her weight is an added factor and will complicate her reocvery here as it is with any animal us included.
She may very well be in organ failure however it also might be something as simple but deadly as an infection. Get her on some meds asap. A pig who refuses food is a very sick sick pig.
Well that sounds like she has already made a recovery from her being off food earlier. Now that is good reading!!
