i slept in...doing afternoon shifts again....staff sick call so we are short which normally would be not so bad cuz i am on afternoons BUT i have the second new group of 15 vet assistant students to tour/orientate this morning (hence the shift change) plus a new difficult dog coming in...(this would be little misters could be little difficult sister..."maybe")
coming in from chilliwack animal control...a little blind, toothless ancient wrecked peke who doesn't like people much and really dislikes other animals...YAY...(not)
i should know better than ever to try to sleep in...not a good idea around here at all.
sigh...rescue days come wrapped in all kinds of packages but bottom line? inside the wrapping is always a surprise.
