As Carol mentioned, the board (minus Carol) has taken over admissions to SAINTS. It is a very tough job especially because we are full, both physically and financially.
So we are doing what we can to help out.
Please help us get the word out about these 2 seniors needing help. They are coming from another rescue organization who is helping out a bunch of sled dogs. Most of the dogs have been placed, except for these 2 as they are non-working and have age and a few small health issues going against them.

From the rescue group:
2 unneutered male Huskies needing placement:
We are looking into the critical rescue of some sled dogs, two of which are seniors with health-issues. Time is of the essence because the older couple who own the dogs are facing a critical health situation themselves...hence the immediate need to place the dogs in foster, forever or rescue.
They are both lovely animals.
-Cowboy is a comedian and very perky. He is tall and lanky. It looks like he has PRA (progressive retinal atrophy). Male, 55 lbs, 12 yo, is blind (not glaucoma), otherwise healthy, friendly, happy.

-Sarcee is a gentler soul, calm and very personable. Sarcee is a little bulkier and is a lover. Male, 55lbs, 12 yo. Appears to have degenerative myelopathy (painless) and is still really mobile, friendly, happy

Not neutered. They are pretty mellow and would be fine together. Unsure about small dogs, but definitely not cats.
These two are obviously in the twilight of their lives and it would make us so very happy that they could have at least some good quality love and compassion in their lives.
