this is the salamander i found in the middle of the kitchen floor today

I have no idea where he came from and the poor little bugger was kind of dry and covered in dog hair so I put him in the sink to rehydrate, washed off the hair and took him back down to the trees by the pond where he actually belongs. hope he buries himself and goes back into hibernation which is what this misguided guy is supposed to be doing right now.
