we lost rudi today

he was his normal self, looks like he was in the midst of eating when he suddenly collapsed, most likely from a heart attack. we have been aggressively treating his sudden heart disease with several different drugs but by bulldog standards, rudi was getting to be an old dog...at 8 yrs old it is not uncommon to lose them to fatal cardiac events.

rudi was a lovely boy...full of cuddles and kisses for those that he loved. all of us here are truly going to miss him..esp. the way he flopped over for belly rubs.

Oh that's sad.
Hopefully it was painless and quick for the poor boy. Hard on the ones left behind though.

I will miss him so much. I loved giving him his belly rubs and so glad I could be part of the better life SAINTS gave him. RIP sweet boy
