POSTPONED - Senior Animals in Need Today Society AGM 2021
Wendy · Jun. 13, 2021
UPDATE: There is an extreme heat weather warning for Mission and other areas of the Fraser Valley this weekend. As such, and for the safety of attendees, we have decided to postpone the AGM until a later date.
The SAINTS Board of Directors will have a new date selected and announced as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience, thank everyone who was planning to attend, and look forward to seeing you on the new date.
SAINTS annual AGM will be taking place on Sunday June 27th 2021.
The AGM is an opportunity for everybody, members and non members, to learn about the progress that SAINTS has made in the past year. Details such as our statistics on animals (how many were adopted, fostered, passed away, came in), financials for the year, and any significant growth and successes we have had, are all items that we go over at the meeting.
We hope you'll join us via either of the below options.
Time: 12:30pm
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
Place: Outdoors, on SAINTS' property at 33860 Dlugosh Ave, Mission, BC V2V 6B2
Virtual Option: We will set up a live stream option for people wishing to listen in from home. Meeting link details will be posted closer to the AGM date. This will be a first time attempt at livestreaming our AGM, and the sanctuary's data and wifi signals can be inconsistent, so we ask attendees to kindly bear with us through any glitches :)
Please read the following Covid-19 pandemic considerations:
- As of this posting, we are confident that our outdoor meeting will meet the BC public health pandemic rules and guidelines during the "Phase 2" program that is scheduled to start on June 15th. If things change, we will update this post accordingly.
- As of this posting, we are not yet set up for public tours. This invitation is for the AGM, in a specified location only. We look forward to welcoming people back to meet the animals again soon though.
- As an extra precaution to protect SAINTS' staff, volunteers, and supporters, we respectfully request that all in-person attendees wear a mask, and use all of the usual physical distance common sense around others. There will be a limited supply of disposable masks available for anyone who might forget to bring their own. Hand sanitizer will be readily accessible.
