Our lovely Sheltie had concurrent massive health concerns, some of which we still are in the dark as to where they stemmed from. Multiple and repeated testing was unable to pinpoint exactly what else was going on. What we know for sure Cory was in degenerative renal failure when he came to us. He would have developed this some time ago (likely months) and sadly it progressed rapidly. He was hospitalised three times over the last 10 days in an effort to try to reduce the damage. Complications started to develop. We transferred him to Boundary Bay yesterday but unfortunately he continued to deteriorate and it would not have been fair to keep going.I am so sorry. Cory was the sweetest little guy. We were lucky to have known him, if only for a short time.
