My Story

Meet Barry.

In mid October Barry was picked up as a stray in Surrey. He was then transferred to SAINTS.

Barry has already seen our vet and has been diagnosed with multiple issues. His eyes are damaged, they have so much scar tissue from previous untreated ulcers that he can hardly see.

Good news is the vet does not think they are painful as there are no ulcers now. We will keep them lubed up so they aren’t so dry and irritated but the vision loss cannot be undone. Barry also has a significant heart murmur, horrendous teeth, a prolapsed rectum and is very underweight. We’ve run some more tests to see if we can do surgery for dental extractions, which will help him feel better.
