My Story
Flurry the pigeon was transferred from the Delta Community Animal Shelter (DCAS).
Flurry had been at the DCAS shelter for nearly a year without any adoption interest. When DCAS informed us about Flurry's strong desire for companionship, we decided to make room for one more. The bonded pair of birds that Flurry was living next to are set to be adopted soon, which would have left Flurry alone. Pigeons are social creatures that thrive in flocks, and little does Flurry know, she's about to gain a feathered companion of her own.
