My Story

Poe was found as a stray and picked up by CARE in Chilliwack before being transferred to SAINTS. Poe has been a long-time resident here, dealing with numerous ongoing issues. He has bladder cancer, skin irritation, and a condition where his body pushes calcium deposits through the skin. Additionally, he has had one eye removed and is incontinent.

Poe is on various medications and follows a strict diet. He is in palliative care, which is exactly why SAINTS was started – to care for little guys like him. While his condition progresses and declines, he remains happy and outgoing. We are committed to ensuring he is comfortable and content for the remainder of his time with us.

Every animal, given the right home, could be placed in foster care or adopted. To find out if one of our animals could be a fit for you, please email adoptions@saintsrescue.ca to start a conversation
