My Story

Victor was transferred to SAINTS from Sammy's Forgotten Felines in Kamloops. Originally, SAINTS planned to take in Scribbles, a kitten with neurological issues, but since Scribbles was progressing well in her foster home, Victor was considered instead.

Victor's journey began as an abandoned stray cat rescued over a year ago in very poor condition. Through multiple surgeries, including the removal of a painful eye, along with medications and proper care at Sammy's, he made a remarkable recovery. Despite his efforts to find a forever home, Victor encountered little interest, leading him to SAINTS.

Now, Victor is a cherished resident at SAINTS. Despite being completely blind, having lost both eyes, he remains remarkably sweet and affectionate. In the big cats' room, Victor asserts himself as the dominant top cat, even without eyes. He has a keen sense of hearing and scent, allowing him to track down cats causing a fuss and firmly reprimand them.

Victor's resilience and leadership within the sanctuary highlight his strong spirit and loving nature. He is adored by staff and volunteers alike at SAINTS, where he enjoys a safe, loving environment for the rest of his days.

Every animal, given the right home, could be placed in foster care or adopted. To find out if one of our animals could be a fit for you, please email adopt@saintsrescue.ca to start a conversation.
