Jack, drama queen par excellance! It was bath time today for Jack, Buddy, Sissy and Pippa. Jack wins the award for dramatic acting, hands down. She wheezed, she squeeked, she did her mechanical dog routine, she wheezed some more - I was sure she was going to have a heart attack right in the sink.
Buddy and Sissy are veterans in the role and posed no problem. Runner up was Pippa, but she just can't compete with that squeeking, wheezing, oh-my-god-what-are-you-doing-to-me little Jack.
All are clean and brushed and now in hiding if I even set foot in their space.
Copper, who had been screaming and woodeling all through the pooper scooping that preceded the baths and who had been following me around all over the house, was remarkably silent from the moment I unceremoniously dumped Jack in the sink. I think he feared he'd be next - or maybe he just knew that he was outperformed.
And Potato Ed, who was good as gold all afternoon, was rewarded with a walk off premises today - and had a great time.
A fun, but wet, afternoon. And no, I did not try to bath Saul. For that, Carol will have to install a swimming pool for Saul and me.
