ouch!

so picture this...my new old couch in my animal free den...corky the parrot is muttering in her cage, lexie and maude are taking up all the floor space, washington has the chair to himself and bernie is in her bed on the coffee table shelf.

i am sitting on said couch with sweet pea and stanley cuddles on my lap. on the pillow to my right is tiger lily and harrison is draped over my shoulder, julie is on my chest and harley who is stretched out on the rest of the couch has her head on my left arm.

ogidie who couldn't find any other place closer to me is perched on top of harley's head. (harley is a REALLY GREAT dog)

god sometimes i love my life.

we all stayed there together til the movie was over (yes nicole, we watched spirited away) the movie was good, i and my friends were all content and now my ankle is swollen to three times it's normally swollen size and my back is starting to spasm.

apparently the best things in life are not necessarily pain-free...and where the hell are my painkillers?

just a quick update on the americats (only cuz i just went to tuck them all in) well forget it, they are fiesty right now, misfit stole the string from my hoodie and she, mosley, aladdin,charlie, and even merlin all had a good game with it.

sanjaya looks better tonight...he likes that recovery food and i watched him eat which meant he got all the good things i add to it too. sunrise is still leary but no longer leaves and hides and ronnie just loves any love fest.

but my laugh for the night came from the rock who was snuggled with me, ronnie and sanjaya...rock gave a huge yawn and my jaw dropped down too because that bloody cat does not have a single tooth and i ever the moron never noticed this. i guess he will get a bigger plate of canned food and i bet he will get fat and this will be a very good thing...cuz fat FeLV's live a long time and i want these guys stealing my strings forever...who ever uses their strings on their hoodies anyway?

lol deb...irony? or maybe just full of shit?! everyone except me knew that space was never going to be animal free...but it sure sounded good at the time. if i truly want animal free, i will just go and sit in my car.

I am sorry to hear about Merlin but grateful that he has you. As for Aladdin - that must be why he was usually just watching things from above - do he could make sure everyone else played fair. Maybe he figures since he makes the rules he gets to break them - shame on him. It is always wonderful to hear how good the cats are doing.

As for Albus (nicknamed Alvin after the Chipmunk character), I had heard that he was quite the mischievious one but he was always on his best behavior when I was in his hut. It is wonderful that he is already comfortable enough to show you his true self!

i think the staff told me misfit and charlie and albus were quite hilarious there but they are all pretty young. merlin is young too and i was pretty pleased that he joined in the game because that cat is beyond even lazy...i strongely suspect the virus has entered his bone marrow because he really has verylittle energy. he won't even bother to get up for chow so we have to hand deliver (then he eats well!)once it hits the bone marrow, they just get slower and weaker every day. i am hoping the vetamino helps him with this and when dr petrelli gets here on the 19th (we had to re-schedule) i will get her to give him some vitB12 injections and that might perk him up for a bit even more.
i will tell you tho that aladdin doesn't play fair...if someone has the string too long, he gives them one swat on top of the head, ruins their game and then he takes over the string. poor mosley, he was having fun.

It sounds like the Americats have settled in and decided to call SAINTS home because I don't remember them being that fiesty in Pahrump. Don't get me wrong - I am thrilled that they love their new digs. It sounds like even the ones not so well have found new energy.

I did not know that The Rock did not have any teeth - he is such a big, stocky boy!!! I hope that Tiki, Aladdin, and Sanjaya all get better soon.

I love the updates. Did I read somewhere that you accept donations through PayPal? Please let me know.
