My "hubby" (not legally I just call him that because we've been together for 7 years) and I rented a car (as neither of ours would make the journey). We, ok fine HE, drove 2700 KM from Maple Ridge to Kelowna for the weekend and then from Kelowna down to Portland and then onward to the Oregon Coast. We went as far south as Florence and up to Cannon Beach before heading home. It was a great trip and I just love how friendly people are in the OK and OR. What are we doing wrong here? I am thinking of running away and going to live in one of those very small Western American cites. It was very nice to wake up and only have to think about what I wanted to do, eat, and think about (including "hubby" too of course :) ).
I know lots of you missed my SAINTS pics. Mom already has a list for me to take tomorrow of renos done for their most recent grants. In the mean time here are some pics from my trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast.

"Hubby" bought me a video camera for my 27th Bday :) so get ready for more videos on the blog of the crippled crew. Perhaps we could even try and do a Vlog (which is a video blog) where carol talks instead of writes that might be fun.
