Today was a near perfect day at SAINTS. The sun was shining, the animals were happy, the areas were clean, the laundry done and we had a picnic! Even Pheobe was surprisingly well behaved ...
what do you mean "surprisingly"? I am always GOOD. I mean GREAT. I mean the BEST. You should start calling me Pheobe the Best, really.
No way! Who are you kidding. But you are certainly not the only one, here are another three who can sometimes be jerks to other dogs. We should call them "the three jerkies " (Joey, Jerry, and Paluchie).
there is jerky? where? where? ... huh. WHERE?
anyways, as I was saying it was a perfect day. I got to play ball with Daphne and she was loving it.
Instead of exert herself on this gorgeous day. Ellie decided to lounge around and enjoy the rays of warmth (as you can tell she usually decides to lay around no matter the weather ...).
Floyd stayed cool in his pool.
Herman spent the day in his favorite place too ... the shavings pile
Thanks for stopping by but if you don't have a treat then kindly leave
Now while Herman is a bit lacking in the friends department. Chewy is doing a bit better.
Yes. He is getting along well with both Gilbert and Pete. He likes to play fight with them both.
Except for some reason this young goat refuses to respect his elders ... namely Edith, whom he openly mocked in front of me by sticking out his tongue at her!
Hey you old hag, you're not the boss of me!
How very rude. No manners. But really who does have manners at SAINTS? Not the dogs. They made that perfectly clear sat picnic, standing on tables, jumping up and even stealing food! (OUT of peoples mouth ... PHEOBE!!!)
The picnic was fun for everyone. Even the new volunteers and dogs.
Even the new volunteers and dogs had a good time.
Ashley made friends with Joey
Jelly Bean and Kia liked their first SAINTS picnic lots
The dogs even got their veggies!
HA! my mom, Linda only lets me eat veggies ... sigh. But I ate cow poo earlier when she wasn't looking hehe.
Andy came to the picnic too although his hot spot was still bothering him a little.
As the picnic was happening Jesse was on a secret mission ...
Then there were others that would have been at the picnic but were not invited for obvious reasons ..
what reasons? we are good cows.
Carl did not care as he hates people . But I am sure he would have like a carrot at least ..,
No way! I am rolling for joy at being left alone!
Morgan was rolling for joy today too when Tammy poop scooped the outside cat run.
Who is Tammy you say? That is a good question. She is one of these Shadows. can you guess which one?
Ian and Mary wanted to see pictures of the 2 new cats: Wilson and Dorthy.
Well Wilson does not stop moving and so a picture of him is near impossible and Dorthy does not move at all because she has a very weak back end. Wilson reminds both Helga and I of Louise (but less head tilt) very very sweet cats the both of them.
Tammy dumped out an entire bag of treats for Dorthy because, says Tammy "she is old and dying." That sounds like a Carolism to me.
can I have more treats please?
Tammy also petted Wilson a bit ... but not enough!
hey Tammy were are you going keep petting me please!
Mo was feeling extra warm and fuzzy to Casper (who may have a potential home).
Casper is such a suck!
Harold may have a home too. Carol L. came by with her dog Precious to meet Harold and it seemed to go quite well.
At the end of the day everyone was pooped ...
Including Al our 17 year old energizer doggy
and cutey of the week goes to Mandy!
Thanks Tracey it is my pleasure to take them and share them on the blog and thanks too for voting--so far so good!
