The above is a link to the aviva community grants page for SAINTS. Voting just started and we have two weeks to vote. At the end of the two weeks SAINTS will hopefully had made it into the semifinals and join the other 60 finalists to become a total of 90 semifinalist. Dec 2nd the public then has a chance to vote again and widdle down the 90 to 30 ideas. Then comes the scary part preselected judges then choose from the 30 as to who are the winners. I hope there are some animal lovers in the group.
Here is the link to the voting instructions

Please abide by the rules. It is very similar to the pepsi challenge. You must registar and then vote. This site is much more interactive. It will save the 10 votes you have placed and then will - if asked- direct you to similar ideas that you have voted for but missed.
There is right now 149 pages (18 ideas per page) on the site so it is going to be an uphill battle - I am sorry that we are asking you to vote for 3 different competitions for SAINTS but SAINTS really needs the money.
If we don't win ... I do hope that we just little make people think a bit. Please go right down to the bottom of the page and read Carol's words. That blog makes it so easy for me sometimes to write "real good"
I will try to put the link on the SAINTS facebook. I put it on mine which is pretty much useless since I only have 19 friends.
Also I can't seem to get the url I typed in to be link so people are going to have to copy and paste the url.
I am sorry guys about the confusion with the site.
I really looked at the grainess of the picture of the classy chick and then wanted to change it. But I didn't want to submit my change because I knew it would disappear of site. So I came up with the bright idea of just saving and then looking to see what each picture looked like in the LARGE picture that greets potential voters. Barbara hence you seeing the video image there. The message said that the changes weren't visible on the public site. Well they are. And then when I saved them only the page kept telling me you need to submit the changes... I thought I would wait until like 2 AM this morning and now it says on the public site that the site is under review for inapprorpiate content. Carol left me a message worried it was because she had "shitty" in her quote.
I am going to fix everything really late at night when it won't matter that the site disappears for a while.
This learn as you go thing isn't a good ideas always.
