Two good news items :)

1. SAINTS won the $1000 grant from the Shelter Challenge online voting contest. Thank you to all who voted, this will really help our vet bills. New round begins on October 3rd! Get ready to get your vote on again.

2. Our Gala is in the Maple Ridge News print and online paper :) with 17 year old saint, Al's picture! *happy dance* We have sold 120 tickets and have more than enough silent auction items! Can't wait, its going to be a great night.

Carol, GOOD NEWS # 3 - Brent just picked up a $400 cheque from BECKER LAW OFFICES in Pitt Meadows. I'm picking up $100 from an ex-councillor of Pitt Meadows tomorrow before the GALA. That's $500 that we got from my facebook entry. I lived in Pitt Meadows for 14 years and was actively involved in the community and happily 2 people remembered me.
