the ultrasound found some adhesions forming but no bowel is misplaced. looks like all of your positive thoughts and prayers worked..thank you all so much for caring about him so much!!!
ellie has a nasty bite on her shoulder..wills was chasing her yesterday so the little pigs won't be given full freedom..they will have to settle for free time first thing in the morning and last thing just before bed.
pete had calcium, thiamine, multivitamin, and long acting antibiotic injections. we will have to wait and see how he does.
czar's ongoing sheath problem looks like it may be cardiac based...the vet thinks the sheath edema is caused by poor cardiac profusion and because of the edema his penis gets consticted and gunks up. he had bloodwork done and another sheath cleaning and depending on the bloodwork we might start him on lasix as a diuretic and possibly cardiac meds.
charlotte's sudden big lump is an abcess so hot compressing to try to bring it up to the surface and then the vets will come back and lance it.
mo and i re-seeded the bottom field..i am toasted thru and thru and mo didn't look a helluva much better if you ask me. it was $700 for just the seed for the upper and lower fields so now you can bet i will get really big time upset if someone tosses grass killing hay down on our very expensive fields.
we had quite a few not so great helpers...mystic, june, al, daphne, shane, jesse, joey, new bud, jelly and ed..they are all pretty tired now too.
percy is now free to be out with his friends...we did not take his sutures out..maybe another week or so before they are ready to come out. but that's ok..he has lots of time, there is no rush now..percy will be with us for the rest of his lifetime..that could be another 15 or more years!
love you percy, so glad you will be sucking out our eyeballs for a long time to come.
Oooooh thank God! I was afraid to read the blog this morning. WAY TO GO PERCY!!!
