he was almost 20 years old and becoming more and more frail each day. he had recovered from his recent small stroke but then suffered thru a few days of vomiting and diarrhea, life was starting to be more and more challenging, he really hasn't been feeling all that great lately. it was his time and he passed peacefully at the vets today.
he came here as a frail little old man and he left us as a frail little old man. we never had the opportunity to know zues healthy or youthful. but he was a very sweet and gentle old dog, except he totally freaked out if you needed to do anything to his face.
rest in peace zues, you were loved, you lived long and now you are free.
