not including fosters or previous adopted saints, we have lost about 50 animals this year whose last days were here at the sanctuary.
these deaths were personal because we were their one and only final family.
it has been a year full of heart wrenching loss.
it is no wonder we take every day of life here seriously because every single day, may be the last.
it behooves us to never forget that.
so many of our guys live pretty damn close to heavens door.
every day someone doesn't knock on it is a gift.
