another loss

apparently if you leave a bedroom window open a few inches, lance can smell freedom. a curtain and pillowcase did not fare too well the scent of possibility.

lance is doing ok...better than I expected. I think he is a dog used to being wild and free and confinement is a bit wearing for him.

marshmellow was euthanized today.

he came in the spring of 2009, a victim of a family move. he was matted and blind from a chronic, untreated herpes eye infection.

rocko went hypoglycemic this morning. we were right on it giving him corn syrup and force feeding, except he just kept getting worse.
