another call on an old cat

gus passed at the vets at 1230 today

we talked about possibly IV therapy, inserting a feeding tube to get some nutrition into him and sedation with multiple enemas and manual disempaction to clear…

i am home from my mommy thing and back to my animal thing now....

gus is still with us. i just heated his magic bag and gave him a few gentle strokes. i will run some more fluids thru him before i go to bed.

we are going to lose gus.

he arrived sick on thursday and has just snow balled down hill. on saturday, there appears to be little hope. he will not eat or drink.
