it is really cold in the big dog room this morning
i don't know why i haven't made it a priority to get a working furnace in here or at least replace that gas fireplace.

this is one of the hardest things i have to write
because this will be one of the hardest things i ever have to do. we are going to be losing spritely soon. she is starting to lose her foot and hoof.

there is supposed to be a new dog coming last night or today but i haven't heard any confirmation of either so maybe not.

i just want to remind everyone of the shelter dog information session on this sunday at 1:30 pm (at 1 pm i will be doing a short blurb on maintaining oka's blood sugars within normal range and recognizing the early signs that he is heading for trouble)
it is important that all staff and volunteers try to attend because only those that have attended will be able to take the dogs out in groups from now on.

deep thinking today
laura very kindly called last night to say she was putting the barn guys to bed so i promptly had a hot bath and fell asleep on the couch.
